Spa Road Property

This website is dedicated to keeping the community informed about the environmental cleanup activities and redevelopment at the Spa Road Property in Annapolis, Maryland. The City of Annapolis, in coordination with the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP), is actively working to identify a remedy for the Weems Whalen field and former Department of Public Works (DPW) facility located at 932 and 935 Spa Road (the Site) in the City of Annapolis. This Site has the potential to be included in the Choice Neighborhood Initiative (CNI) revitalization plan as developed by the Housing Authority of the City of Annapolis (HACA).
