Fueling Station Upgrades

Improvements have been made to the City of Annapolis fueling station on the eastern side of the property. The 10,000-gallon gasoline underground storage tank (UST) was removed in June 2026 and the 10,000-gallon diesel UST was filled with concrete slurry and abandoned in place due to concerns for stability of a nearby canopy footer. There were no exceedance of MDE soil or groundwater standards detected in the soil and groundwater samples collected from the UST area.

Two new 10,000-gallon aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) were installed to allow for continuation of fueling services for the City of Annapolis public service vehicles. The ASTs are Fire Guard UL2085 double-walled fuel tanks with contained fill cabinets. All associated piping is double-walled, fiberglass fuel piping. The tanks are equipped with remote monitoring and include interstitial sensors and dispenser leak sensors.
