Fuel Island Tank Removal and Upgrades

The current underground storage tanks (USTs), located on the eastern side of the property at 935 Spa Road are slated to be removed by the end of 2025. These tanks will be replaced with two 10,000-gallon aboveground storage tanks (ASTs), one AST for gasoline service and one for diesel service. The tanks and associated components will have robust spill prevention features. The proposed ASTs are Fire Guard UL2085 double-walled fuel tanks. Additionally, all piping will be double-walled, and the tanks, piping, and dispensers will be monitored with sensors. The upgrades to this fueling station will allow for continuation of fueling services for the City of Annapolis public service vehicles.
